You'd think I'd have figured most things out with my first 5, but it was with my last (who's now 2, the oldest is 11) that I could really take it easy, because I wasn't try to hurry things along to the next baby. Buy a Slingling (folds up TINY, super-comfortable, wears many different ways up to 2+ yrs). Don't worry so much about losing the baby weight, you have the rest of your life to be skinny. Don't freak out about every little thing, most of it they won't remember, and you won't warp them nearly as much as you think you will. Cherish the late nights when they won't sleep, come school age you may not be able to wake them up. Get as much cuddle time as you can, it's harder to come by when they're pre-teens. Teaching them to be responsible and self-reliant saves you LOADS of work as they get bigger (along with your family size), getting themselves dresses, tying shoes, making lunches, telling time, reading, picking up after themselves - they are so proud of accomplishing things, and it saves you all those jobs! Worry less about teaching, training, caring, cleaning and mothering them...and more time LOVING them. The rest will usually take care of itself. :)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13929194407174466908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2487616434221255778.post-46204863564304168302012-06-15T17:18:41.271-04:002012-06-15T17:18:41.271-04:00If you have too much milk, pump first and THEN let...If you have too much milk, pump first and THEN let the baby nurse.
