A FEW MORE SUNNY SHOTS

so, newport. i don't know about you but i could use some more beach in my life. while we were there we stayed at a cute beach house a block in from the ocean, on the very top floor, in a tiny little beroom connected to a sunny balcony that faced the harbor. every morning after we'd get ready we'd swing those doors wide open and breathe that fresh sea air and walk out on that little balcony to soak up some morning sun. i kept thinking, now THIS is a morning routine! it was pretty darn amazing. i'd like to go back, like, right now.

that boy of mine is pretty cute, too.

  10. Hi. I'm a new reader.
I always assumed that the more I moved into the countryside and the more garden I had, the more peaceful I woud feel. But you manage to have domestic bliss in a city? I looked at your Irish homes article. I live in the English countryside and am surrounded by thatched cottages and heart melting beauty. Although I live myself in a standard council (social) house. I can't afford one of those character properties (yet-maybe one day)But I forget how beautiful my surroundings are. My home has little character but I'm learning that I can make it a beautiful place no matter what size or shape it is. Even with the fixtures and fittings that are not in my control.
Thank you for blogging. I came to your blog just recently and feeling inspired already.

  12. since my usual tardiness had me sitting in the hall during sacrament last sunday I had the treat of watching huck run up and down the hall calling out hi and waving at everyone while brandon chased him back and forth. I kept trying to coax huck into coming closer and maybe sitting on my lap but he was far too busy. :) it was such a delight to watch is chubby cheeks bounce by!

  14. Totally enjoyed your pics from OC. I lived on 53rd Street in Newport Beach until I got married and was whisked away to Houston. So fun to see you there enjoying my old haunts.
