EXPERIMENTAL PROTOTYPE COMMUNITY OF TOMORROW

i love epcot, even if the older portion of it is the ugliest plastic-y mess. but the world showcase is especially fantastic and more than makes up for it. it seems to me like all you need in order to do epcot right is a long afternoon and a real healthy appetite. so many snacks! we especially loved poking through the themed gift shops and riding the little boat ride through mexico with the three caballeros. and that nordic adventure is crazy

i will happily be the wendy to these lost boys.

  9. I have such a geeky awesome place in my heart for Disney World.

Epcot is awesome. Especially because you can see the "world" through snacks and boozy drinks!

Huck's little happy face is just amazing.

  12. I'm sure you have thought about this before but it makes me sad to think that our kids will never know the Disney that we knew. Well, maybe our kids will but not kids in general. The panting sound that the wolf makes as he's coming up the hill in "the sword in the stone"? That "the lion king" is a brilliant adaptation of shakespeare? The three freaking caballeros?? Sigh.

  14. Yum, your ice concoction would be kakigori! I love the stuff.

I was just reminiscing about Epcot and the ridiculous Food Rocks! show that used to be in the Land Pavilion. Soarin' is pretty cool, but singing food is classic.
