BON IVER

on friday night we saw bon iver play radio city music hall for brandon's birthday. it was suuuuch a great show, in such a freaking rad venue. aaand basically i cried all the way through it because apparently my "this is way rad" sensor is tied to my "i'm going to cry" sensor. who knows, girl things.

happy birthday to mah brandon! muah!

  1. Oh my goodness! Please don't tell me that they are going to stop touring as Bon Iver! Please tell me that he'll go solo. I am dying to see Justin Vernon live. Thank you for sharing the link. It looks like you all had a blast. I would be crying too!

  4. OH, NO! I can't believe that they aren't going to be touring as a group any longer. Seriously, that makes me so sad. I wasn't deluded into thinking that they'd venture anywhere near Wichita, however, so my chances were slim to begin with. You have no IDEA how jealous I am. I plan on watching the entire set online stat!

  17. Oh no that makes me really sad I never got to see them! I'm a live music crier. In fact I'm just a music crier. The muller cow advert makes me cry, the one that's like 'Mary always wanted to be a horse.. go on girl GALLOP', the music and sentiment= sobbing. But the point of this comment was, you might like to know, I believe that Alexa Chung was at that gig!! xx

  18. Oh my... I can't wait to see them in Berlin in November. I had no idea these were gonna be their last shows! Let's hope it's really only "for a while"!

The video of Skinny Love is wonderful... I got goosebumps all over. Unfortunately I can't stream the entire concert as it's available for Germany. :(

  19. Ahhhhhhhhhhh I went to see them in Boston last week!! And I was crying too! Not really, but I thought I'd make you feel better. It was a last minute birthday present from my boyfriend, and I was pretty excited to find out that we'd almost missed our chance to see their last tour together but didn't.

  25. I love Bon Iver, and also cried when I saw them in concert here in San Diego. Live music is my weakness, and I guess my strength.
