Halloween is coming. Here is how I know.

The Winco is selling Cinnamon Devils.

My neighbors have brought their dead bodies out.

My husband is growing his delicious red beard.
(And it is dark by 6.)

I have set up camp by the space heater.

Walks look like this.

We've been eating Pumpkin Pasta leftovers all week. (RECIPE HERE!)

My house looks like this.

  3. ohhh...I like that space heater...where did you get it?
I'm glad you got the fish. It takes butter, lemon and a lot lot of seasoning to taste good...and grilled on the BBQ. :D

  4. I think it's a Costco find, Kristin. We're gonna cook up the fish as soon as I get a hold of some lemon!

  9. This is a lovely little post, and an equally lovely little blog. I'm not often interested by Blogger's Blog of Note, but this is an exception. Congratulations on the honor! I shall be coming back to visit often. :)

  13. I'm a virgin (well almost) blog reader. Besides my daughter-in-law's, yours is the second I've read. I'm utterly charmed!
Last night, my arm candy and I went to see Whip It, the new movie starring Ellen Page. Reading your blog makes me feel like that delightful movie did--a certain knowledge that there's intelligent life out there that can make me laugh for a precious moment.

  17. Hi. I know that it is time for Halloween because of all of the decorated homes that I see in my neighborhood. Also because of the changing leaves and the cold weather.

  22. Hi! I'm a new reader, checking out some older posts. I really enjoy reading your blog.
I know its Halloween because my best friend and I have been wrist deep in flour "glue" making paper mache masks for our soon to be grotesque costumes! And of course all the pumpkins, leaves, candy, chill in the air, and shorter days.
    p.s. cute puppies!
