  1. would it be wrong for me to brag about my wife? how i didn't quite realize when i asked her to marry me how special of a woman she was? how i didn't quite realize that she was the most talented person i would ever meet? lately, natalie has amazed me in so many ways. she is so human, and has so many human emotions. god made her and said, 'for natalie, i will give her a full supply of everything... every talent, feeling, and idea.'

i thank my lucky stars and wonder what i did before this life to deserve such an amazing woman to be by my side everyday.

  2. My sister struggled with infertility for 10 years. Let me say that again. Ten. Years. She lost a pregnancy at eight months. On Dec. 10, we will celebrate the 10th birthday of my beloved niece. She joined our family the day before her first birthday.
On Thanksgiving we will give thanks for my second niece, born to my sister on that day in 2003.
There have been numerous studies about women who give birth (following long waits and numerous medical interventions) after adopting. Some scientists believe that the women's stress levels finally drop enough that their bodies will allow a pregnancy to take hold.
Others believe it is a reward from a higher power, a thank-you gift for having an open heart.
I'm not telling you what to do, or what to believe. I'm a newcomer to your blog and so far I'm tremendously impressed by your obvious talents. I just wanted to share our family's experience, in the event that it might offer another perspective.
Warm regards to Peter P. and Barnaby M.

  4. You don't know me...I think I landed here from cjane. I struggled with infertility with my first (and again with my 2nd, an IVF baby), and I totally remember reaching the no hope stage. Anyway, I hope it's a good sign for you - I'll be rooting you on! :)
