  4. I love the picture of Huck crashing the field trip. It makes me giggle because I could so see my own toddler doing the same thing. Like, "hey, look it's people sitting! I'm going to sit here too like I know what's going on."

  11. Um, Huck lounging in his stroller-how do you make it through the day without dying all over him?! Plus, I totally just ate Chipotle while watching The Host yesterday. Annnd I'm still trying to rack my brain over what is in those 12 jars of bodily fluids....do I even wanna know?

Speaking of art.. after reading about your love of nyc water towers I started noticing them all over the city (how had I not before?!)
My sister drew a really cute one if you'd like to check it out:

  16. The El Anatsui piece you've titled "performance art" is actually pretty incredible. I'd love to see his 'Gravity and Grace' exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum before it closes.

  23. Just have to share a memory of Alex since she's been on your blog recently. On my first day in our new ward (1999) I was super scared to go to primary. So while I stood in the back crying like a poor, pathetic little 8 year old, someone dragged Alex to the back of the room to comfort me. Apparently she was relatively new, too. I just laugh thinking of her being like "um, it's okay, no one will bite you" even though she was probably much nicer than that. Thanks Alex! You da best!

  24. TOTALLY want to see 'The Host'!! It was in and out of the theaters quicker than quick but I adore Saoirse Ronan and let me just take a moment to complain LOUDLY that she should have been Tris in the new Divergent film, but she had already committed to The Host, which is not going be as big as Divergent, and GAH, I'm just so bummed about the bad timing of it all. End of rant. :)
