A LITTLE HOUSEKEEPING

a few photos that brandon took a few weeks ago. (when it was still warm out!) they aren't related to anything, but every post deserves a picture!

on monday afternoon i put together the very last article for babble that i will ever write in this lifetime. it felt hugely good. friends, i've been maxxed out!! between the book and the blog and being the best mom i can be, plus other little things that come and go and attempts at having an outside life with huck and his friends, it just got to be a little dumb. really i should have done this months ago.

so! well, this means mostly nothing in the grand scheme of things, but a lot of you have said you'll be despondent without my babble posts (exaggerating, me?) but don't worry! and thank you so much! going forward, any of the style posts i would have written for babble, i'll just write here instead. i'll even share a few forever 21 links should i find anything outstanding. (i'm working on a ridiculous yet thorough guide to navigating the forever 21 for the book, so that you all may go forth and conquer. chapter three! just kidding i have no idea.)

until then, you can find my final forever 21 round up HERE. i hope you've enjoyed reading these as much as i've enjoyed putting them together. and thank you so much to my babble editors for always being such understanding, supportive, and accommodating peeps. it's been a pleasure.

p.s.
my stylish friends latonya and belle have started their own line of clothes for tots.
it's all supremely kick ass.
they're fundraising over on kickstarter, it's a worthy cause!
you can check it out HERE.

  2. Hooray for a guide to navigate Forever 21 in your book! I honestly think every F21 piece of clothing I've bought in the last year has been posted first by you. You have a gift, girl.

  3. Hah! I loved your Forever21 guides, even though I consider myself sort of a proud expert on the subject anyways. The only thing I'll miss is knowing my picks were "natalie approved" because you have wonderful style : )

    Cute photos of mister huck!

  4. I've always thought Forever 21 needs "Natalie Approves" signs in store for your picks, there is so much stuff to sort through! Thanks for doing it for so long though, it's been a huge help in this postpartum through nursing toddler constant size changing time of life, keeping me feeling stylish without going bankrupt. And I never would have set foot in there if I hadn't seen your posts :)

  10. I've never commented before, but I love your Forever 21 posts! Never usually shop there, but one post actually spurred me to buy a dress you mentioned and people always compliment me on it. Glad to hear they will still be a part of your blog.

  12. You know, I think I'd prefer to read your babble posts on your own site. I started reading Babble years ago. Never missed a post when you wrote for the first year blog. But I think they've really gone down hill since they changed ownership. It's a little too Disney-fied. Not that there's anything wrong with that! It's just not what I started reading that site for, you know? But I would so much prefer to read your posts on Forever 21 on your own site, away from the constraints of the ever frustrating Babble slide show format. Can't wait!
