THREE

i am gearing up for one major bummer of a weekend.

i know it's cheesy to ask, but if you could send some prayers our way, i'm certain it will help. what's best for others isn't always what's best for me. i'm going to keep repeating that to myself this weekend, as many times as it takes.

in the meantime,
here are this week's babble posts:
is there such thing as stroller etiquette?
a video of some of our favorite songs
how i like to dress my boy
the ridiculousness of a first-time mom,
and a post on poop and a post on formula.

  1. I'll say a prayer for you. No problem.

  2. Aww Nat. I am so sorry to hear about the dogs. Where did the second one go? I'm sure it was an impossible decision, but you have to choose what is right for your family. And you are the only one who knows that. Good luck this weekend! Remember how much you love your human baby and hubby!

  3. Nat, not only will I keep you guys in my prayers, but I offer you this as distraction....

it's called "Hallows" and it's sung to the tune of Beyonce's "Halo". It's been stuck in my head for the past 48 hours, and I love it. If I could I'd send you a case of Diet Coke and a jumbo bag of twizzlers.

p.s. I've been an emotional wreck all week (or month), full of pre-emptive nostalgia for the FINAL HARRY POTTER movie! No more books, no more films, what is the world coming to?! I think this must be adding to your bummer of a weekend, perhaps even subconsciously, since I know you're a huge fan :)

  5. Oh, Natalie...is Peter leaving this weekend? If so, I'm so very sorry. I have no words of advice or cheer. Tiny fur-baby holes in our hearts never really get filled. Many prayers are headed your way, as well as a few sympathetic tears.

i'm so, so sorry. Sending up my "smoke signals" now (that's what my best Idaho friend used to call it when sending out prayers). We all need 'em.

Natalie Holbrook??? Did your husband ever live at Chatham Towne apartments in Provo? And did he ever have a roommate named Chris Hart? If so then I think we may be long lost friends cause I'm married to Chris Hart and I'm pretty sure we used to hang out and I remember something about your wedding reception. Anyhow, email me at suzannejhart(at)mac(dot)com and I'll send you an invite for our family blog. Crazy to find you after all these years!

  17. Oh, Natalie. I'm sorry for your hard weekend. I'm praying even though it's over because maybe it's not quite over in your heart, you know. :-(
