NAT NESTS AGAIN

we just found out today that we can move into our new place this friday. this friday!

in celebration, i have decided to resurrect from the deep and utterly forgotten the poorly neglected nat nests, since i am about to actually have a nest worthy of fluffing.

in case that doesn't make you as happy as it does me, maybe this photo of my husband's inner ten-year-old's wildest dreams coming true will?

p.s. today on our walk we passed an ad for conan's new show. huck pointed at it delightedly and said, "daddy!"

  1. not gonna lie, your hobsman looks cute. no disrespect as he is yours.

also, as we near the little one's big day, i get a little tear in my eye thinking of how badly you wanted to be a mom and then you got pregnant and then you had the little wee one and your amazing birth story post and how cute and fat he got and then oh my goodness here we are. one. and i don't know you at all, but i am so terribly, utterly, happy for you. and you should know that.

  5. I have to echo Colleen's comment: I am so happy for you! It's crazy to think that Huck is a year old now. And that picture of your husband is too wonderful, it definitely made me happy on the inside.

  7. Is he at Disney World for a conference by chance? If so, one of the CPAs from the firm I work for is probably down there with him. Random... I know. I need to get some sleep...

  10. Any idea how important I feel now, as a Moscow reader? Super important, is how. Kills me not to be able to watch your kid grow up, but I am glad I got to hear so much about all of it via this brilliant blog of yours.

  12. I have been trying to channel my inner martha lately and it makes me soo happy to hear about nat's nests...

    Babies grow up so fast!

I think you should take Huck to a bath and body works and let the female workers squish on his fatness, especially if they have sparkly nail polish on.

  18. yay. throwback style, this is cool news because i do seem to really like the moscow writing days, though i wasn't a reader then, through the "you might like" little feed at the bottom of your blog, I just recently read the one where you made cupcakes and cookies for church and they all ate the darn cookies. i like the style, and i'm happy to hear your gettin' back to those roots, with a dash of the nyc/baby/present..life
