TODAY

Today has been brought to you by: my Miley Cyrus wig-wam boots, finally getting Christmas presents wrapped, Peter Pan looming on the back of the couch like a vulture, and the letter D.

  1. Today has been brought to you by: my marc ecko shoes, not nearly as stylish as the wig-wams but equally as brown, snapping out of a moderate Ebaneezer Scroogian funk, and believing that "The Pan" is guilty of so much more than you are willing to believe.

  4. Well...
Today is sunny, crisp, and chilly, and I can see clear over the valley to the town of Montalcino, (where they make Brunello)...It 'winks' when the sun hits all the glass windows just right...Jack my dog is half buried between the lavender plants in the garden, dozing...I'm sipping some Earl Grey tea with a twist of lemon...my morning ritual is nearing it's end, so I'm off to Get Things Done.

  7. Today has been brought to you by my new puppy, peeing seconds before we stepped outside for his morning walk, somehow negating the reason for that chilly walk. At least the views of the sunrise over the teeny village and the Luberon mountains made up for having to clean up pee pee before having any coffee.

  8. Today has been brought to you by still being up from yesterday because blogger sucked me into its brilliance (gotta catch up on those posts...) and the quest to take an acceptable holiday picture to send to relatives.
    Yay for fake-o poinsettia wreaths!!

  9. Today has been brought to you from a bed that whispers my name so gently and sweetly that i can't bear to be parted from it even though a pile of textbooks, a class of rambunctious 8 year olds, an army of grey haired church goers and a bag of unwrapped christmas presents are calling out angrily for my attention. oh, and also the letter Z (that's zed, not zee, because i am english, and that is how we do it here. it also rhymes with bed, which is apt)

i feel like i should introduce myself - my name is rachel and i have been surreptitiously reading your blog for a while now. its becoming a habit. i am not sure if its a bad or a good habit, but i like it)
