MY CHRISTMAS TREE :: huck holbrook, esquire ::

today we have a very special guest blogger: huck! i mean, just roll with it.

"hey dudes. this is huck! mom told me i could show you my christmas tree.

all of the ornaments are kinda boring--they don't even break! breaking ornaments is so fun. but the ornaments DO all taste good (trust me, i've tasted them). and i totally helped make the gingerbread man and the star of david. mom took me to a martha stewart holiday craft party and i got to flirt with all the martha stewart girls and they all thought i was such a stud. they took my picture and everything!

look how tall i am these days! oh yes, and this is my bed. i sleep here at night now. i know, it's pretty impressive.

and this is my favorite toy, the air purifier. i like to turn it on and off and on and off and it is SO COOL. but have i shown you my room yet?

yeah, it's a lot bigger than my last room.

love,
huck"

  1. He's a natural. Is he back in the closet? Haha. I thought you had a two bedroom now. Or is that considered a bedroom? Regardless.....when did that kid get so big? It's like he's.......a little boy now.

Sorry, did that break your heart?

  4. So cute. BTW, how is the mini crib working out now that Huck is not so mini?! I'm considering one...but concerned about how fast the little one will outgrow it.

  6. I love that sweet little nook!!! It makes me want to rearrange and redo the girls' room now--but I just dropped over $250 on Camryn's new bed, so room decor will be a looong time in coming (Karl reads the bank statement fanatically).

  8. Huck's room is adorable! The world cloth backdrop is fantastic. I love his lion ornament, on his mini tree (mini trees are the best, I can't wait to put mine up!).

  10. Huck! I am beyond honored that you still have my mobile and penguin in your digs! My little Gigi is going to be VERY jealous when she realizes you have your very own tree and she doesn't! I think you two need to get to know each other when you come out for Alt! She's pretty cute...

  12. What an adorable post! Huck is the cutest!
I also noticed his middle name is August. My older son Nicholas' middle name is August. I just love that name. It was on both sides of our family, so it was a given that we would have a boy with that name. :-)

  15. I love the part about kids needing thier own Christmas tree.

Also, I miss the bunting in his room. It wasn't too much! It was just right! But I'm also probably the opposite of an expert on the topic of 'too much.'

  16. Dear Huck, your tree is cool and so is your room. My vanity/getting ready area reminds me of your sleeping zone. It has two doors too and just enough space for all of my stuff too. Later dude.

  17. dear huck,

i love you. i'd be your babysitter for FREE if i could. or i'd just be your mom's personal assistant so i could hang out with her and quote YGM all day. that sounds fun, too.
