  1. my husband and i play that great game too...and especially since i nurse, spending more time figuring out where to eat - and not actually eating - is super fun. not really though. glad your game had a tasty ending!

  3. Oh my city has a hole in the wall place like this too! Just like it! Except with pizza.

It's called Steel Wheels... except almost all the letters are burnt out and from the outside it looks kind of like a falling over shack that some homeless man may or may not be sleeping in. But then you enter, and the site of even more deterioration greets you! Marvelous, right? But seriously, every ounce of wall, table, and bench is covered in people writing on it. But they serve the absolute best pizza ever, at a price of 2 for $3, and who can beat that? Anddddd the guy that owns it and serves you said pizza is Asian and wears a cowboy hat. Because why wouldn't he?

  4. My two year old would like to high five you for the burger cheers (if she could read). Once we taught her "cheers" she started cheersing everything. Once, after I put bandaids on her feet (from a new pair of shoes) she looked at them for a second and then clicked her heels together and said, "Cheers bandaids!"

  9. "the holbs has to discover cool things on his own. if the holbs knows other people thinks something is cool, he has a harder time agreeing that it's cool. things have to be just-so for the holbs." that is my husband to a T! LOL! I've always heard of this place and wondered if it was worth going. I compare every burger to Shake Shack so I already know I'll be disappointed!

  10. Here's the deal: I will come watch YOUR kid for the morning so you and the Holbs can go to the temple, and I'll pretend he's my fat little thing for just a few hours.

  11. This will 100% be on my list of places to go when we hit the city next. I've actually heard about it before but now I've decided - that's it - we're going!

Did you just get a regular burger or do they have different kinds? (we have a place in Baltimore that serves things like Kangaroo and Ostrich).

  13. I'm Kelli Granum's sister-in-law (I think you know her), and she and Bryan introduced us to that place when we were there for a visit. We love it! Such a cool atmosphere.
