  3. I saw a similar picture on pinterest a month or so ago. I tried it and by golly it worked! Of course my goggles were one of my sons from a lowes make it and take it think and i was laughed at by my husband and 4 kids. But whatever! No more explaining I'm not sad about making dinner...it's really just the onions. I will be looking in to something closer to your style.

  11. we've always used my chemistry goggles from undergrad to combat onion fumes. if they're designed to prevent your exposure to substances you shouldn't be around when pregnant, certainly they can handle some delicious-yet-noxious secondary compounds. =)

  12. your onion goggles are much more fashionable than mine... I use ski goggles. you know it's serious cooking when those puppies are busted out.

  13. Such a great idea! I have also heard that chewing gum helps and so I tested this theory only to discover that it works...just in case you want to switch it up!

  15. if you put a match in your mouth that fights the tears.

BUT! Then you wouldn't look like the coolest kitchen superhero EVER.

  17. Onion googles are totally worth it. Streaked mascara just for some onions? Nope.

  18. I'm totally getting those. I have enough problems with my eyeballs without onions messing them up. Usually I just pop the onion in the freezer for a little while and that does the trick.
